Christi D Benigni, DVM

Dr. Benigni is an Arizona native who grew up as a desert rat in the East Valley. At an early age she became active in animal rescue, which has both enriched and blessed her life with many wonderful adventures, including a spay & neuter project in the Galapagos Islands. She completed much of her undergraduate education at Arizona State University. In 2006 she was accepted to Washington State University, and moved to the Palouse, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Although, Dr. Benigni feels that living in the Northwest was an exhilarating experience, she is thrilled to be back home in Arizona and finds comfort in knowing that she will never have to shovel snow from her drive-way again.

Dr. Benigni has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Colby Jack, and three cats, Gwendolyn, Chase, and Nugget. She hopes to add a “big-dog” to the family who can keep up with her outdoor activities. During her free time Dr. Benigni enjoys traveling, shopping, and has a love for two-stepping.

Dr. Benigni is a member of the Arizona and American Veterinary Medicine Associations. She has special interests in internal and preventative medicine, animal behavior, pain management, and soft tissue surgery. When asked why she decided to become a Veterinarian she stated, “Animals fulfill a unique role in our lives and the bond between an animal and their owner is a special relationship…. I feel it is an honor to be allowed to help enrich and benefit that connection.”
